MADAWASKA – Alvine Doucette, 87, died Dec. 31, 2003, at a Madawaska nursing home. She was born in Frenchville, Feb. 19, 1916, the daughter of Belonie and Lena Emma (Dube) Michaud. She is survived by three sons, Herby and his wife, Doreen, and Harold and his wife, Mary, all of Madawaska, Raymond and his wife, Linda, of Connecticut; one sister, Marie Doucette of Madawaska; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. David Church. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. until time of the services on Monday. Interment will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery in Madawaska in the spring.
