LIMESTONE – Amos P. Bell, 85, died July 14, 2005, at a Madawaska healthcare facility, after a long illness. He was born Oct. 23, 1919, at Limestone, the son of William J. and Lucy (Levesque) Bell. A lifelong Limestone resident, Amos was a potato farmer his entire working career. He was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone and was also active in the Parish’s Council of the Knights of Columbus. Amos was a longtime patron of the Owls Head Museum. He is survived by one brother, Reginald Bell and his wife, Lucille, of Limestone; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Clarence Bell. Graveside committal services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2005, at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Limestone, with Fr. Chanel Cyr, officiating. Arrangements under the care of the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou.
