BURLINGTON – Amos T. Curtis, beloved son, husband, father and friend, made his transition from this life to the next Saturday, May 27, 2006, after a brief, but very brave battle with cancer. He left this life with dignity, knowing how dearly he was loved by his family and many friends. And the angels were with him-he told me that. He was born Aug. 20, 1947, in Lincoln to Fred who predeceased him and Jennie (Hurd) Curtis. Amos is survived by his mother, Jennie Curtis; and his wife, Meg Crocker-Curtis, both of Burlington; a daughter, Esther Catron and her husband, David; and Amos’ grandchildren, Jonathan and Elizabeth, all of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a son and his family, Jared Curtis, Kristi Dill and precious granddaughter, Yasmine; his Irish wolfhounds, Piper, Cara and Dunyan will miss him also. A memorial service will be held in the near future. Donations in Amos’ memory may be made to Penobscot Valley Humane Society, P.O. Box 73, Lincoln, ME 04457. Arrangements are with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. For an online register book please visit www.clayfuneralhome.com
