BARING – Ann L. Olsson, 62, died in a tragic automobile accident, Jan. 21, 2004. She was born, Nov. 23, 1941 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, the daughter of James and Louise (Hill) Larkin. Ann graduated from Woodland High School and Westbrook College, she worked for the Calais school department for 19 years. Ann was a lifelong member of the Roman Catholic Church. Ann was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Olsson in 1993; and her brother, James Larkin in 2000. She is survived by two sons, Jason Olsson and his wife, Beth, of Baring, Jarrod Olsson and Darlene of New Hampshire; two daughters, Julie (Olsson) Bovee of Eddington and Betsey (Olsson) Shaw and her husband, Aaron, of Hudson; one sister, Ellen (Larkin) Beal and her husband, David, of Alma; one sister-in-law, Rhana Larkin of Waite; one brother-in-law, Robert Olsson and wife, Evelyn, of Baring; six grandchildren, Jessica and Jordyn Olsson of Baring, Kayla Jackson of Eddington, Parker and Shannon Shaw of Hudson, Ashley Griffin of New Hampshire; two special friends, Carolyn Furlong and Marie Krug. A memorial service will be celebrated at 1 p.m., Saturday at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Baileyville. A gathering will be at her home following the service. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Calais Athletic Booster Club, care of Calais High School.
