PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – Ann Coombs Young passed away June 25, 2005, at the age of 60, while at home in Port Saint Lucie, Fla. Born in Belfast, Ann also lived in Frankfort and Hampden. A talented doll artisan and clothier, Ann will be missed by all the doll-mommies who delighted in the clothing she so carefully crafted. Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Russ Young and canine companion, Tiger, both of Port Saint Lucie, Fla. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Katherine “Kathy” Stovall of Belfast; and her son, Brent Rideout. She is survived by two brothers, Richard Coombs and Clifford Coombs, both of Northport; and by two sisters, Fay George of Bucksport, and Judy Coombs of Waterville. Other survivors include her son-in-law, Mark; her grand-children, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Following cremation, Ann will return to her family in Maine. On Sunday, Aug. 7, between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m., friends and family may visit the home of Richard Coombs of Northport, to view photos, share memories, and visit with Ann’s immediate family.
