MILLINOCKET and ORONO Anne Marie Martin, 69, died Monday, March 31, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 5, 1938, the daughter of Ludger and Clara (Berube) Martin, who predeceased her early in her life. Anne Marie enjoyed playing bingo, listening to country and gospel music and socializing with anyone she saw. She spent the last 10 years of her life at Orono Commons Nursing Home under the loving care of the staff. Anne Marie is survived by her oldest brother, Eugene Martin and his wife, Cynthia, of Millinocket; two sisters, Bernette Levesque and her husband, Raymond, of Bangor and Marlene Guy and her husband, David, of Millinocket; and her brother, Melvin Martin and his wife, Anne, of Millinocket; 15 nieces and nephews, several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to visit with the family 11-noon Thursday, April 3, at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 112 Maine Ave., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider.
