LINCOLN – Annie Arline Flower, 88, wife of the late Robert I. Flower, died Aug. 17, 2004, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born July 17, 1916, in Drew, the daughter of Kenneth and Annie (Gray) Butterfield. Arline had a special place in her heart for her childhood hometown called Drew, and her heart would drift there often recalling her childhood days. She called it a “magical time and place.” Arline had a special love in her life, which was her husband, Bob, whom she loved with all her heart. Their love for each other was extended to their family and friends, and their home was always considered a special place to visit. In addition to her husband, Robert, she was predeceased by two brothers, Galen Butterfield and Rodney Butterfield; and a sister, Margaret Theriault. She was also predeceased by a niece, Jane King. Arline holds a special place in the hearts of all her nephews and nieces. She was a special aunt to all and all her nephews and nieces will miss her. Friends and family are invited to meet at 10 a.m. Friday, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Lincoln Cemetery, with the Rev.
