SEARSPORT – Annie C. Wilcox, 88, of Searsport, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at a local Belfast healthcare facility. Born March 26, 1916, in Belfast, she was the daughter Drew and Alice McKeene Chaples. Annie enjoyed quilting, sewing, camping and fishing. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard O. Wilcox Sr.; five brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by her son, Leonard O. Wilcox Jr. and his wife, Trudy, of Stockton Springs; two grandchildren, William Wilcox and his wife, Brandie, of Louisiana and Tracey Wilcox of Stockton Springs; three great-grand-children, Scott Larrabee, William Wilcox Jr. and Emily Ann Wilcox; a special niece, Joanne Abbott and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, at Rackliffe Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Abbott officiating. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Burial at Grove Cemetery.
