PALMYRA – Anthony J. Tucker, 13, a resident of Warren Hill Road, died tragically Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at his home. He was born July 21, 1993, in Newport, the son of Randy Holmes Tucker and April Ann Cooley. Anthony attended the eighth grade at Somerset Valley Middle School, Hartland. He enjoyed helping others; he enjoyed outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and snowmobiling. He loved being a good big brother. He will be missed by his special dog, Hollander, a German shepherd. He is survived by his parents, his mother, April Cooley of Palmyra and his father, Randy H. Tucker and his girlfriend, Tina, of Pittsfield; his sisters, Adrienne P. Tucker and Alyssa F. Curry, both of Palmyra and Meranda Tucker of Augusta; his grandmother, Virginia Tucker of Newport; great-grandmother, Violet Neal of Florida; a special aunt and uncle, Bettie and Jerry Chase of Albion; many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends; and special friends at school, Scott Lureau, Login Chadbourne, Jeremy Davis and Karrisia Porter. Anthony was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, James Mayo and Amelia Cooley; paternal grandfather, Ralph Tucker; and a special cousin, Jared Tucker Elliott. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Hartland Community Center, Elm Street, with the Rev. Mark Tanner officiating. Friends are invited to attend a gathering immediately after the service at the community center. Arrangements are entrusted to Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel, 35 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield.
