EASTON – Archie T. Ladner, 44, passed away unexpectedly May 25, 2008, at his residence. He was born Jan. 26, 1964, in Presque Isle, the son of Earl and Ferne (O’Neil) Ladner. He had a heart of gold, although troubled at times. His greatest passion was his love for his guitars, which showed in the many that he had. He will be sadly missed by his family, especially his nieces and nephews, who he was very close to. Surviving him are three brothers, Arthur and his wife, Candy, of Presque Isle, Ernest and his wife, Nina, of Bowdoinham and Randy and his wife, Allyn, of Easton; two sisters, Linda Curtis and her husband, Scott, of Arundel and Bonnie Sandoval of Pearland, Texas. Archie will be remembered by many friends, especially David Shaw of Easton and Jordan Fields of Mars Hill. He was predeceased by his parents; and an older brother, Earl Jr. “Sonny.” A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, at Estes Park Cemetery, Easton, with Pastor Matthew Maxwell officiating.
