PALMYRA – Ardena “Dee” Hart, 51, died Aug. 16, 2004, at her Palmyra residence, following a long struggle with cancer. She was born April 16, 1953, at Farmington, a daughter of Donald and Marion (Deleo) Fahey. She graduated from Springfield, Mass. Trade School, where she became a licensed practical nurse. She also graduated from the Cooke County (Texas) College of Nursing as a registered nurse. Most recently, Ardena was employed as a veterinary assistant, retiring due to failing health. She had also worked at doctor’s offices, and at a state mental institution as an RN. She is survived by her mother of Springfield, Mass.; her husband, Harvey, of Copper Canyon, Texas; a son, Michael and wife, Kari Hart, of Palmyra; two brothers, Wayne Fahey and Francis Pavia, both of Springfield, Mass.; two sisters, Darlene and husband, Edward Boutin, of Newburgh, and Stephanie Fahey of Springfield, Mass.; three granddaughters, Shawnee, Hayley, and Tiffany, all of Palmyra; three nephews, Jason, Anthony and Troy; and a niece, Tatyana. Private burial will be in Texas. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Newport.
