DANFORTH – Arlene W. Parker, 99, wife of the late Charles Aubrey Parker, died Jan. 23, 2006, in Lake Worth, Fla. She was born Oct. 15, 1906, in Danforth, the daughter of Mansfield and Phoebe (Ashey) Williams. Arlene was valedictorian of the 1925, graduating class at Danforth High School. She graduated from Washington State Normal School, Machias in 1927. She taught school for 35 years in several towns, including, Selden, Eaton, Topsfield, Princeton, Danforth, Fairfield and Portland. Arlene was also a very devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by three children, Charles Frederick Parker and his wife, Pat, of North Haven, Conn., Robert Mansfield Parker and his wife, Mary, of West Bowdoin and Carole Parker Heyburn of Lake Worth, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, Charles, she was predeceased by three grandchildren, Charles Stengel, Susan Parker and Deborah Parker. Friends may call 11-noon Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Rd., Danforth. Funeral services will be held noon Saturday, at the funeral home, with the Rev.
