LUDLOW – Arthur M. “Jack” Carmichael, 74, died June 29, 2006, at his residence. He was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Monticello, the son of Ernest Lee and Ethel Florence Sterns (Upton) Carmichael. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, M. Estrid (St. Peter) Carmichael; his children, Leonard J. Carmichael and his wife, Cheryl, Joni King and her husband, Brian, all of Ludlow, Katrina A. Silliboy and her husband, Joe Jr., of Littleton; his grandchildren, Andrew J. Carmichael of Ludlow, Ryan J. King and his partner, Joahna Hopkins, of Gray, Jessica R. King and her partner, Ben Cooney, of Windham, Adam J. Silliboy and his partner, Vange Anderson, Joseph P. Silliboy III, all of Littleton, Alice M. Crouse and her husband, Jerrod, of Mapleton, Billie Jo Silliboy and her fiance, Wayne Colter, of Littleton; his great-grandchildren, Kassi L. Reeves of Houlton, Nallah K. King of Gray and Braden A. Crouse of Mapleton; his “favorite” sister, Mary Tidd and her husband, Dana, of Hodgdon; sister-in-law, Vera Carmichael of Houlton; many special nieces, nephews and cousins, whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Perley Carmichael, J. Glenn and Madeline Carmichael, Harold and Shirley Carmichael. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at Saint Mary of the Visitation Church with the Rev. Eddy Morin celebrant.
