MOUNT CHASE and GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP – Arthur Lebel, 77, left his earthly home to go to his eternal home with Jesus May 2, 2007, at his daughter’s house in Greenfield Township. He was born Nov. 5, 1929, in Lynn, Mass., the son of Arthur and Evelyn (Desrosier) Lebel. Arthur retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years and spent four and one half years in the Army Reserve. He was a member of Katahdin Lodge No. 98 AF & AM of Patten. He is survived by two daughters, Julie Lord and her husband, Tim, of Greenfield, and Jeanie Rabitoy and her husband, Jon, of Glendale Heights, Ill.; four grandchildren, Benjamin Carver, Melissa Strang, Felicia Hatch, and Paul Hatch III.; five great-grand-children, Kaleb Carver, Mercedes and Sierra Strang, Andre Jackson, and Sage Hatch. He had one brother and five sisters. A celebration of his life and memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at Greenfield Baptist Church with Pastor John Cutler.
