FORT MYERS, Fla. – Arthur M. Vuilleumier Sr., 88, formerly of Winterport, died Oct. 2, 2006, at Hope Hospice. He was born July 9, 1918, in South Boston, Mass. He was a resident of Whitman, Mass., for 28 years, where he taught electrical engineering at Weymouth Vocational School, Blue Hills Regional Technical School and Northeastern University. He was a former member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. He was the husband of the late Marie J., who died in 1991, he is survived by his children, June and husband, Paul Byron of Las Vegas, Marie L. and husband, Peter V. Sullivan, of Estero, Fla., Margaret S. Cohen of Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Arthur M. Vuilleumier Jr. and wife, Cathy Libby, of South Portland; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and two sisters. Funeral service and burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Alzheimer’s Resource Center, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
