ORRINGTON – Arthur David Jameson, 81, husband of Julia J. (Mayo) Jameson, died April 26, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 13, 1922, in South Brewer, the son of John G. and Catherine (Lanigan) Jameson. Pee Wee served in the U.S. Army as a ranger during World War II. He was employed by the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad, Eastern Manufacturing and was retired from W.H. Shurtleff. He enjoyed farming and gardening and his membership at the Brewer Farmers Market. He was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. In addition to his dear wife, Julia, he is survived by one son, Daniel and wife, Sheila Jameson, of Orrington; one granddaughter, Bridget Arey; three great-grandchildren, Evan, Nariah and Jenna; three sisters, Dorothy, Mary and Pauline; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Butch, brothers, John and William; and a sister, Ella. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004, at Marston Cemetery, Snows Corner Road, Orrington, with the Rev. Joel R. Cyr, pastor of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, officiating.
