NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Arthur William Palmer, 88, of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005. He was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Fort Fairfield, a son of the late Milford L. and Helen Ida (Watson) Palmer. Mr. Palmer is survived by a son, Neal A. Palmer of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, Rev. Cyril Palmer of Pendicton, British Columbia, Canada, and Elwood Palmer of Skowhegan; two sisters, Margaret Hazelton of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Vera English of Wilmington, N.C.; two grandchildren, Kevin and Jaimes Palmer of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was predeceased by his wife, Edna (LaForge) Palmer. Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at Lee Funeral Home, Little River, S.C. Burial will follow at Southeastern Memorial Gardens Cemetery, North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
