MILLINOCKET – Asa H. “Buddy” Sinclair Jr., 67, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, after a brief illness. He was born April 4, 1938. Buddy is survived by his longtime companion, Dawn Carley of Millinocket; a daughter, Leeann Sinclair and her companion, Junior Shelters, of New York; a grandson, Billy of New York; an uncle, Alexander Cummings and his wife, Harriet, of Friendship; two sisters, Mary Engberg of Powderly, Texas and Marie Doucette and her husband, Jack, of Milford; four brothers, David Sinclair of Beeville, Texas, Robert Sinclair and his wife, Sandy, of Camden, Tenn., Sidney Sinclair and his wife, Roxanne, of Orono, and Daniel Sinclair of Brewer; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Asa H. Sinclair Sr. and Florence (Cummings) Sinclair Gusha; and a sister, Lillian Avery. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Mountain Ash Cemetery in Machiasport. Gifts in memory of Buddy may be sent to Marie Doucette, P.O.
