PASSADUMKEAG – Ashley B. Curtis Sr., 72, husband of Lucy (Richardson) Curtis, died May 26, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Lincoln, the son of Virgil and Sadie (Curtis) Curtis. Ashley loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors and carpentry work. In addition to his wife, Lucy of Passadumkeag; he is survived by seven children, Barbara Babcock and Dale of Lowell, Vickie Hesseltine of Pushaw Lake, Eugene Curtis and Laurie of Alton, Sarah Curtis of Farmington, Ashley B. Curtis Jr. of Lincoln, Ben Curtis and Crystal of Milford and Calvin Curtis and Melissa of Lowell; five stepchildren, Diane Worster and her fiance, Don, of Patten, Penny Tripp of Union, Janice Worster, Roberta Toby and Karl and Bobbie Jo Worster and her fiance, Jose, all of Wisconsin; a sister, Marie Boucher of Portland; 12 grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-stepgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, four sisters and one stepdaughter. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Enfield Village Cemetery.
