BELFAST – Ayden “Peanut” Kristopher Henderson, was born at 7:11 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2004, and passed away after a courageous battle at 12:08 a.m. Tuesday, May 4. He was born in Belfast, the son of Megan Coughlin and Richard Henderson, both of Belfast. In Ayden’s short time, he showed that he was a strong fighter, and brought people together. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Judith Coughlin, and a great-grandfather, Frank O’Rourke. In addition to his parents, Ayden is survived by his grandparents, William Coughlin, Richard Henderson Sr., and Reginald Porter; his Godparents, Virgil Royal and Renee Whitcomb; several aunts, uncles, and great aunts and uncles; and his two dogs, Spot and George. The family would like to thank the nurses in the Labor and Delivery Ward of the Waldo County General Hospital and Dr. Eleanor Handler for all they did for Ayden. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2004, at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, with the Rev. David Abbott officiating. Interment will follow at Grove Cemetery, Belfast.
