ALLAGASH – Barbara Ann Kelly McBreairty, 65, died Aug. 30, 2005, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 24, 1940, in Allagash, the daughter of Guy E. and Thressa (Hughes) Kelly Sr. Barbara’s family was her life. She loved cooking and was very generous. Her home was very open and she loved sharing with people. Her very strong spirit was a wonderful faithful example to us all. She is survived by her husband, Leonard McBreairty of Allagash; sons, Ricky and Mitchell; and daughters, Tressa and Helen, all of Allagash; grandsons, Todd and Jamie and great-grandson, Daniel, all of Allagash; brothers, Leonard, Douglas and Edward Kelly; sisters, Helen McBreairty, Caroline Gardner, Beulah Gardner, Kathy Jackson and Sharon Cusack; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and two children, Scott and Sarah. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Allagash High School Gym. Burial will follow in the Allagash Baptist Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
