MILO – Barbara Kay Sawyer, 70, wife of the late David E. Sawyer, died Sept. 2, 2004, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born April 9, 1934, in New York City, N.Y., the daughter of Frank and Cecelia (Trocino) McIntosh. Barbara was predeceased by a daughter, Hope Ann Sawyer. She is survived by two sons, David A Sawyer and Shawn S. Sawyer, both of Bangor; four daughters, Michelle A. Rosneck of Andover, Mass., Kelley M. Sawyer of Dexter, Bridget B. Ellis of Milo, and Heidi L. Sawyer of Augusta; a sister, Virginia Fortier of Old Town; five grandchildren, Lauren Mello, Ariana Mello, Zachary Severance, Isaac Burdin, and Samantha K. Ellis. Barbara will be remembered by two special friends, Jack Eastman and Kelly York. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with the Rev. Kenneth Dale officiating.
