EASTPORT – Barbara Lorraine Roberts, 74, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at her home. Barbara was born April 28, 1932, in Melrose, Mass. Before retiring to Eastport, she was employed as a nurse’s aide in Massachusetts. Barbara enjoyed interior designing and reading. Barbara is survived by her mother, Evelyn Rawlings; her companion of more than 25 years, Anthony “Tony” Nardi of Eastport; her twin daughters, Linda Roberts of Londonderry, N.H., and Leslie Roberts of Manchester, N.H.; and their father, Gerald Roberts of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Jack Rawlings of New Hampshire and James Rawlings of Massachusetts; three grandchildren, Nicole, Jennifer and Derek Roberts; and two great-grandchildren, Hayleigh and Isaac. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 51 Washington St., Eastport, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. by Fr. Eugene Gaffey.
