CALAIS – Barbara (Spector) Peters, 60, died Sept. 6, 2005, at her Calais home. She was born March 9, 1945, in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Maxwell and Ida (Geffin) Spector. She is survived by her husband, David Peters of Calais; three children, Neil Peters of San Francisco, Calif., Sharon and her husband, David Babitsky, of Freehold, N.J., Joshua Peters of Augusta; one brother and his wife, Paul and Elaine Spector of Indianapolis, Ind.; two grandsons, Jared and Samuel Babitsky. Graveside services will be held 12 noon Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Bangor, with Rabbi David Cantor, officiating. Family and friends are invited to meet 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the Jewish Chapel, 118 Center St., Bangor.
