OKLAHOMA and SOLIDER POND – Bernadette (Paradis) Deschaine, 80, died July 25, 2007, surrounded by her family at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. She was born Aug. 29, 1926, at Soldier Pond, the daughter of Baptist and Agnes (Larmare) Paradis. Bernadette is survived by her daughter, Karen and her husband, David Long, of Tulsa, Okla.; her son, Steven Deschaine and his wife, Verlene, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and two grandchildren, Amy and Tyler Long. She is also survived by one sister, Theresa Wood of Saco. In addition to both her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Omer Deschaine; two sisters and three brothers. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be held after at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Soldier Pond.
