MACHIASPORT – Betty (Renshaw) Davis, beloved wife of Dan Davis, went to be with the Lord, Oct. 2, 2007 at Marshall health care facility, Machias. She was born March 21, 1929, in Machiasport, the daughter of the late Irvin “Duke” and Irene (Johnson) Quinn. Betty was a past member of the Degree of Pocahontas Lodge Iroquois Council No. 74 in Machiasport. She enjoyed camping, singing, and playing country music. In addition to her husband, Dan of Machiasport, Betty is survived by a son, Gary Renshaw; and a grandson, Dale, both of Gorham; a sister, Faye Ryan of Whiting; and one niece and one nephew. At Betty’s request there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at Church Hill Cemetery, Machiasport, officiated by Pastor Bill Holmes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 163 Lancaster St., Suite 160B, Portland, ME 04101. Arrangements are under the care of Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias.
