BEVERLY M. LONG LINCOLN – Beverly M. Long, 72, wife of the late Harvey Long, passed away Nov. 4, 2007, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Feb. 13, 1935, in Lincoln, the daughter of Harry and Estelle (Hunt) Jones. Beverly loved to read, especially Stephen King books. She loved her dog, Dewey. She is survived by four children, Jeffery Long and Wendy of Lincoln, Marcia Brown of Enfield, Anna Olsen and Donald of Lincoln and Brian Long and Lorraine of Colorado; a special sister-in-law, Patricia Tibbetts of Lincoln; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Harvey. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lincoln Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Swan officiating. Those who wish may donate in her memory to Friends of the Lincoln Library.
