CALAIS – Blanche Brown, 91, passed away Dec. 19, 2003, in Amesbury, Mass. She was born May 5, 1912, in Plantation 21, the daughter of Fred Corbett and Cora (Fitch). Blanche was the fifth of 10 children. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Brown; and children, Donald Brown and Charlotte Fullerton. Survivors include sons, Theodore and Emerson Brown; and sister, Gladys Preble. Blanche was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Our beloved Blanche will always be in our hearts and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held in the spring.
