HAMLIN – Burleigh C. Martin, 67, died Jan. 29, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 2, 1938, in Hamlin, the son of Paul I. and Mary Jane (St. Pierre) Martin. He was employed as an ironworker in the construction trades for many years and had also worked as a farmer. Burleigh is survived by one son, Alan Martin and his wife, Soun, of Crestview, Fla.; two daughters, Lynn Martin of Hamlin, Jana Martin and her companion, Mark Theriault, of Hamlin; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessica, Kellie and Summer. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday until time of service, at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hamlin. Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery.
