LINNEUS – Byron Adams, 58, died June 12, 2007, at his home. He was born June 24, 1948, in Houl-ton, the son of Lee and Leta (Bates) Adams. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force for seven years, serving in Vietnam. Byron drove truck in the woods and drove for Dysart’s for the past 17 years and he belonged to a veterans’ motorcycle club, serving as vice president. His motorcycle was his pride and joy. He enjoyed gardening, especially flowers. Byron had a lot of wonderful friends and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his mot-her of Linneus; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Lee. Friends may call 11 a.m.-noon Friday, June 15, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held noon with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment will be at Linneus Cemetery.
