HOUSTON, Texas – Byron Woodrow Perry, 85, of Houston, Texas, passed away at his home Thursday Morning, Jan. 8, 2004. He was an employee with the Army Corps of Engineers for 35 years and an Army Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leigh Perry and Nettie Bickford Perry; three brothers; and three sisters. Byron is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marian Cosman Perry; son, Robert E. Perry; daughter, Deborah Lee Kirk and her husband, Philip; a brother, Wendell Perry of Presque Isle; two granddaughters, Sherri Roberts and her husband, Lon, of Georgia and Cynthia Kirk; three great- grandchildren, Ariella, Aaron and Cheyenne. Visitation was held 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Services will be held 12:30 in the afternoon Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at Forest Park East Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Park East Funeral Cemetery, Texas.
