WILLIMANTIC – Calvin D. Chase, 65, husband of Donna (Plourde) Chase, died Jan. 16, 2008, at his residence. He was born Oct. 2, 1942, in Bradford, the son of Ora and Gladys E. (Moulton) Chase. A U.S. Army veteran, he was stationed in Hawaii, served in Vietnam and finished his tour of duty in Texas. He worked for many years for Numberall Stamp and Tool Co., Sangerville. Calvin is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna of Willimantic; a brother, Wayne Chase and his wife, Ena, of Guilford; three sisters, Estelle Nickerson of New Limerick, Harriet Murchison of Old Town and Charlotte Chase of Guilford; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Janice Olson. Friends are invited to call noon until time of funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.
