SPRINGFIELD – Carl Voisine, 59, husband of Julie (Russell) Voisine, died Feb. 20, 2008, at a Lincoln hos-pital. He was born Aug. 12, 1948, in Houlton, the son of Donat and Alice (Mitchell) Voisine. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Karaoke was his life. He played all over the area every Saturday night doing benefit gigs. In addition to his wife, Julie of Springfield, he is survived by two daughters, Geizette Witherly and Thomas of Newport and Marlene Voisine of Bangor; a son, Eric Danforth of Maryland; two granddaughters, Alyssa Dill and Madison Witherly; 10 brothers and sisters, Normand and Lucille Voisine of Winn, Cecilia and Arthur LeFrancis of Connecticut, Richard and Ellen Mitchell, Blake Voisine, Muriel and Walt Richardson, all of Wytopitlock, Dawn Voisine of Prentiss, Alice Richardson of Wytopitlock, Raymond and Shirley Voisine of Chester, Carol and Karl Zugelder, and Stephen and Tina Voisine, all of Wytopitlock; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. He also leaves special friends, Tony and Mary Anne Ciulla, Janet and Meldon White, and Berle and Saralee Worster. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother and a sister. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Those who wish may make donations to the family to help with expenses.
