CARLTON M. MAYO SR. DEXTER-Carlton Maurice Mayo Sr., 47, died unexpectedly March 27, 2006, at his residence. He was born May 8, 1958, at Sebec. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his nephew, Nathan Clark. He is survived by his mother, Katrina Bohan of Dexter; three sons, Brian and wife, Tiffanie Mayo, of Lewiston, Carlton Mayo Jr. and family of New Hampshire, Richard and wife, Delma Mayo, of Massachusetts and five other children; brother, Richard and wife, Gilberte Mayo, of Lincoln; two sisters, Kathy and husband, Haggie Pratt, of Dexter and Maria and husband, Linwood Clark, of Kenduskeag; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was an inspiration to Sean Kinney as well as many others. He was predeceased by his father, Joe Petracca; and a brother, Joey Petracca. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 3, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St., Dexter, with Pastor Lyman Curtis Jr. officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Spring burial will be in Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth.
