CARMEN B. CLOUTIER OLD TOWN – Carmen B. Cloutier, 87, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, May 1, 2007, surrounded by her family, at a local health care facility. Carmen was born May 4, 1919, in Old Town, one of eight children of David and Marie (Aubut) LePage. Carmen was a member of Holy Family Parish, Old Town. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and Old Town Senior Citizens. She also enjoyed her po-ke-no club. She is survived by three children, Nancy and her husband, Dick Blanchard, Marie and her husband, Tom Richards, both of Old Town and Mark and his wife, Jean, of Merrimack, N.H. Carmen had nine grandchildren, Wendy Coyne, Brian and wife, Jenny Blanchard, Betsy and husband, Marty Clark, Mary Ellen Lane, Kevin and wife, Lori Blanchard, Janet and husband, Andrew Sharp, Karen and husband, Ben Foster, Jarad Cloutier and Brielle Cloutier. Her great-grandchildren are Alyssa, Brianna, Gabrielle, Kole, Dillon, Casey, Logan, Evan, Paisley, Jacob, Drew, Ashley, Abigail, Donavan, Madison, Lilyan and Benjamin. Carmen also leaves two sisters, Annette and husband, Alban Lavoie, and Irma Violette; and sister-in-law, Lucienne Cloutier; many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by two very good neighbors, Phillip and Rhonda Ouellette; and a special friend, Allegra Thibodeau. Carmen was predeceased by her husband, Victor; four brothers, John, George, Gabriel and Degaspe; one sister, Virginia Therriault; and one great-grandchild, Abbey Blanchard. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a prayer service 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Parish, Old Town, with the Rev. Bill Labbe, celebrant. Family and friends are invited to the Holy Family Parish Hall for a luncheon and continued fellowship after the Mass.
