DENNYSVILLE – Caroline “Tudy” Viscovitch, 97, wife of the late Louis Viscovitch, died peacefully March 14, 2007, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born June 20, 1909, in Eastport, the daughter of Edwin and Lena (Hume) Jonah. Tudy was a graduate of Shead High School, Eastport, and Mrs. Waylock’s Finishing School. She is survived by one son and his wife, Clifford “Bruce” Turner and Anita of Bangor; stepson and his wife, Robert Viscovitch and Kay of Indianapolis, Ind.; stepdaughter, Pat Viscovitch of Freehold, N.Y.; and five grandchildren, Dan Pugsley, Dawn and Ralph Powell, Robin and Todd Hasse, Ken Suttmeier, and Chris Suttmeier; and nephew, Bud Savage and Margaret. In addition to her parents and late husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Savage; niece, Connie Blaney; and her dear friend, Leona Kendall. A service of remembrance will be held later this summer.
