VALRICO, Fla. – Catherine T. Grant, 65, died May 27, 2006. Born in Islip Terrace, N.Y., she graduated both from State University and Long Island University. She was a registered nurse working at hospitals in New York, Maine and Florida. She worked the last 13 years as an ICU Nurse at St Joseph’s Hospital, Tampa, Fla. She was predeceased by a son, Carl Dahl. She is survived by her husband, Laurence “Pete” Grant of Valrico; daughter, Catherine Cratuck of New Jersey; son, James and his wife, Margaret Dahl, of Machias; mother, Catherine Tuma of Valrico, Fla. and several grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all her special friends at St Joseph’s Hospital ICU. Memorial services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 2, in the chapel at St Joseph’s Hospital, Tampa, Fla. Services in Maine will follow at a later date.
