MADAWASKA – Cecile Dufour, 101, died Feb. 2, 2007, at Forest Hill, Fort Kent. She was born Jan. 6, 1906, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Magloire “Mack” and Caroline (Dionne) Collin. Cecile was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, a member of the Daughters of Isabella Circle No. 546 and a former member of the church choir in Madawaska for 30 years. Her greatest love was her family. She will be remembered as a “joie de vivre” person whose love of music brought joy to others. She is survived by three sons, Gerald Dufour and his wife, Rose, of Madawaska, Robert Dufour and his wife, Nicole, of Laval, Quebec, Canada, and Roger Dufour and his wife, Rejeanne, of Madawaska; two daughters, Patricia Ahlmark of Jacksonville, N.C., and Carol Baker and her husband, Paul, of Madawaska; 11 grandchildren, Gary, Greg, John and Matthew Dufour, Pedro, Carl, James and Chris Ahlmark, Louise Dufour, Kayla Baker-Strandberg and Audrey Baker-Burton; 16 great-grand-children, Holly, Erik, Austin, Addison and Olivia Dufour, Kelsey, Dane, Andrew, Michael, Brandon, Erika, Kaitlin, Geoffrey, Kirsten, Brianna and Christian Ahlmark; one great-great-grandchild, Sage Ahlmark, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick in 1965; by six brothers, Edwin, Arthur, Raoul, Gerard, Louis Emile and Bertrand; and by four sisters, Viola, Anita, Therese and Lucienne. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and relatives may call at Daigle Funeral Home 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday. Interment will be at the parish cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Thomas Aquinas Memorial Fund, P.O.
