CARIBOU – Cecile Guerrette, 101, wife of the late William “Willy” Guerrette, died Nov. 26, 2006, in Van Buren. She was born Feb. 11, 1905, in Caribou, the daughter of Thaddee and Ozithe (Gagnon) Longley. Mrs. Guerrette was a longtime member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and in more recent years attended the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, Catholic Golden Age, Caribou Senior Citizens and was the oldest member of the Henry B. Pratt Post No. 15 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Raphael and Roberta Guerrette and Reginald and Lee Guerrette, all of Caribou; two grandchildren, Monte and Michel Guerrette; one great-grandson, Jeremy Guerrette; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. David Raymond officiating in a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
