NATICK, Mass. and SHERBORN – Charlene (McIninch) Bishop, 60, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at the Newton Wellesley Hospital after a 14- year fight with breast cancer. Born in Old Town, Mrs. Bishop was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Ethel (Garland) McIninch. A former resident of Sherborn for 22 years, she had made her home in Natick for the past eight years. Mrs. Bishop was a graduate of Old Town High School, Class of 1962 and later graduated from Simmons College, Class of 1966, majoring in Economics. Her working career was involved with investment research, real estate development, and for the past several years at the Morse Institute Library in Natick, as well as being a mother and housewife. Mrs. Bishop is survived by her husband of 37 years, Stephen H. Bishop Jr.; two sons, Wayne C. Bishop of Whittinsville, and Michael Bishop. She was the sister of the late Cheryl De Fe. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11:30 p.m. Friday in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Morse Institute Library, 7 East Central St., Natick, MA 01760.
