MONSON – Charles E. Strom, 93, died Aug. 11, 2006, in Webster, Mass. He was born Aug. 2, 1913, in Norwood, Mass., a son of John and Mandy (Rosewall) Strom. He graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1934. He was a mechanic at Rucksznis Garage in Monson, Cookson’s Garage in Guilford and retired from Hardwood Products. He was a member of the Finnish Farmers Club, Sangerville Grange, Dusters Car Club and Atoms Car Club. Charles was predeceased by his wife, Marion (Philbrick) Strom in 1985. He is survived by four sons, Richard of Whitinsville, Mass., Dewayne of Linwood, Mass., John of Dover-Foxcroft and Norman of Southbridge, Mass.; four dau-ghters, Janet Bickmore of Washington, Sonja Philbrook of Dover-Foxcroft, Belinda Badger of Carmel and Inez Stock of Corpus Christi, Texas; one sister, Signe Ranta of Monson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, with the Rev. Daryl Witmer officiating.
