ELLSWORTH – Charles H. Boyd Jr., 62, died March 29, 2005, at the Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth. He was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Hartland, the son of Roseann L. (Thompson) Boyd and Charles H. Boyd Sr. Charles grew up in St. Albans graduating from Hartland Academy in the Class of 1961. He worked for many years in Belfast before moving to Ellsworth. He is survived by two sisters, Charlene Wallace of Westbrook and Carolyn Boyd-Smith of Scarborough; a nephew, Derek Graves of Ellicott City, Md. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister. At Charles’ request, there will be no funeral or burial service.
