ORNEVILLE – Charles J. Woodring, 85, died peacefully July 2, 2005, at his residence in Orneville. He was born May 15, 1920, in Easton, Pa., the son of Ralph Jerry and Emma Mae (Friend) Woodring. Charles served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. He is survived by a foster daughter, Deborah Nagle of Orneville; a daughter, Bonnie Cahill of Phillipsburg, N.J.; a son, William Woodring of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; stepsons, Ellsworth Becker of Shackletown, N.J., Charles Becker of Phillipsburg, N.J.; a stepdaughter, Dolores Fuller of Phillipsburg, N.J.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside memorial services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, July 9, at Hillside Cemetery, Bradford, with the Rev. Donald Booker officiating.
