MILO – Charles L. Clement, 71, died Oct. 31, 2005, at his residence. He was born May 18, 1934, in Milo, the son of Wesley and Sarah C. (Batchelder) Clement. A U.S. Army veteran, Charles had been employed at area lumber mills and owned and operated a trash removal business. He is survived by a son, John W. Clement, of Bangor; a daughter, Laurie Carter and her husband, Michael, of Milo; three brothers, John and Gene Clement, both of Milo and Bradshaw Clement of Orneville; six sisters, Alta Lamontagne of Milo, Cathryn Ellis of Parkman, Eleanor of Connecticut, Dorothy Larson of Brownville, Priscilla Clement of Milo, and Mary Burton of New York; six grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Albert. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at Park Street United Methodist Church, Milo, with the Rev. Michelle St. Cyr officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
