ADDISON – Charlotte Crowley died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, in Lakeland, Fla., her winter residence of 10 years. Charlotte was born Oct. 11, 1917, in Jonesport, the daughter of Fred and Sarah (Wilbur) McCollum. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Maynard in 1992. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Ray Foster of Lakeland, Fla.; two grandsons, Roger of Woolwich and Ray of Machiasport; three great-grandchildren, Meaghan, Ryan and Caitlin, all of Woolwich; a sister, Thelma McCollum of Jonesport and Lady Lake, Fla.; a brother, Frank McCollum of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Virgil and Nadine Crowley of Addison, several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as a multitude of special and caring friends, too numerous to mention, both in her “real” home, Maine and her adopted home, Florida. Committal services will be in Jonesport at the convenience of her family. Donations in her memory may be made to the Jonesport Library or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
