CARIBOU – Cheryl Ann Cote, 54, died unexpectedly, Oct. 6, 2005, at Presque Isle. She was born May 20, 1951, at Perth Andover, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Katherine McLean She was a graduate of the Southern Victoria County High School at Perth Andover and also graduated with an associate’s degree from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Cheryl was a media analysis at Burrelle’s Luce in Presque Isle. She attended the Caribou United Baptist Church. Cheryl is survived by her long time companion, Orin McBreairty of Caribou; her son, Paul Clayton Cote II of Bangor; her daughter, Becky Lynn Cote-Sharp of Clermont, Fla.; five grandchildren, Amber Cote, Celena Sharp, Seth I. Cote, Bryce J. Cote and Riley J. Cote; three stepchildren, Angel M. Norris of Columbia, S.C., Joseph O. McBreairty of Caribou and Tara E. McBreairty of Florence, S.C.: four stepgrandchildren, Jocelyn McBreairty, Damien Miller, Alysia Norris and Mason McBreairty; a sister-in-law, Barb McLean of Perth Andover, N.B., Canada and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard McLean. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Caribou United Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert McCarthy, officiating. Interment will be in the Anglican Church Cemetery, Perth Andover, N.B., Canada.
