WESTON – Christina “Tina” J. (Gould) Dwyer, 74, wife of Hartley G. Dwyer, went to be with her Lord, Sept. 6, 2005, at a Houlton hospital. She was born March 2, 1931, in Danforth, the daughter of Archie B. and Myrtle F. (Harris) Gould. Tina worked as a telephone operator several years ago, and later as a receptionist for Occupational Health Services. She served as financial secretary for 13 plus years at Groveton Baptist Church in Virginia, where she was a member from 1962 to 2000. She was a Sunday school teacher for a number of years, and held various positions in church leadership. From 2000 to present she was a member of the Haynesville Baptist Church and was a member of the choir there. In addition to her husband, Hartley, she is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Debbi and Bruce Sprich of Birmingham, Ala. and Susan and Bruce Aldrich of Haynesville; nine grandchildren, Laura, Kristen, Christina, Traci, Paige, Kim, Debbie, Jenny and David; eight great-grand-children, Savannah, Hope, Hallie, Zach, Grace, Hannah, Jackson and Lola; seven siblings, Alta Campbell and Glenna Stiles, both of Milan, N.H., Barbara Bickford of Bangor, Byron Gould of Danforth, Wilfred Gould of Windsor Locks, Conn., Waldina Gould of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Elizabeth Boardman of Hampden; a sister-in-law, Dola Lilley of Linneus; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon-1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, at the Haynesville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Steve McNally and the Rev. Glenn Speed officiating. Interment will be in Selden Cemetery. A reception will be held at the church after the graveside committal service.
