CLAIRE N. OUELLETTE PRESQUE ISLE and VAN BUREN – Claire N. Ouellette, 57, died Nov. 3, 2007, at her Presque Isle residence and is now resting with her Lord. She was born Nov. 8, 1949, in Van Buren, the daughter of Prudent and Eva (Pelletier) Ouellette. She was a 31-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit No. 49, Van Buren. Claire had resided in Presque Isle for the past five years, where she was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Norma Jean and Terry Levesque of Presque Isle; three grandsons, Trevor, Tyler and Torey Levesque, all of Presque Isle; three sisters, Jeannine Grivois of Lecanto, Fla., Bernice Lausier of Oakland and Mildred Gervais of Van Buren; two brothers, Frank Ouellet of Benton and Donald Ouellet of Hamlin; and one brother-in-law, Morris Pelletier of Arizona. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Jim, Ludger and Raymond Ouellette; and two sisters, Irene Pelletier and Viola Boucher. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until time of service Wed-nesday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be at Grande Riviere Cemetery.
