LITTLETON – Clarence “Dick” Foster Jr., 74, of Littleton, died Oct. 21, 2003, at Houlton. He was born April 6, 1929, in Littleton, the son of Clarence and Deborah (Stackhouse) Foster Sr. Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a farmer all his life, he worked for Glen Manuel for 26 years as a foreman. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ella (Lint) Foster Jr., of Monticello; five children, Richard Foster and Cherie Market of Ludlow, Linda and her husband, James Christian of Littleton, Bruce and his wife, Nancy Foster, of Nashville Tenn., Peter Foster and Tena Bell, of Houlton, Michael and his wife, Carol Foster of Galt, Calif.; 18 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one brother, Donald Foster of Houlton, and many friends. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, and 12-1 p.m. Friday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev.
