EAST MILLINOCKET – Clarence “Pete” Rouleau, 91, husband of the late Patricia (MacDonald) Rouleau, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at Colonial Health Care in Lincoln, surrounded by his family. He was born July 17, 1913, in East Millinocket. He was a lifelong resident of East Millinocket where he graduated from Schenck High School. He retired from the Great Northern Paper Company in 1977 after 49 years of employment. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Pete was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his family. He liked hunting fishing, and building camps. He is survived by his three children, Peter and his wife, Freda, of Medway, John and his wife, Patty, of East Millinocket and Mary and her husband, Richard Harrison, of Hermon; seven grandchildren, Kelly and Luke Drayer, John “Jr.” and Lisa Rouleau, Patti Jo and Blaine McLaughlin, Peter and April Rouleau, Ricala and Adam Hafford, Keith Rouleau and Rena Kirkpatrick, Kristopher Rouleau and Patty Newcomb; 10 great-grandchildren, Nikki, Casey Jo, Kasey Jo, Wendell, Shane, Paige, Luke, Zachary, Mallory, Christopher; and another great-grandson on the way; one sister, Frances Poisson; one sister-in-law, Mamie Willett; and three special friends, Judy and Steve Curtis and Evelyn Lakeman. He was predeceased by his wife and his mother, Alma. A Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, East Millinocket.
